Team shower, when I work for a equipment dealer, I had the fun joy of going to tx, to pickup a piece of equipment that a another store had on their lot that was sold in our area. I stopped for the evening n waiting till my time in line for a shower had a guy asked if I was solo or team not knowing anything I said solo and then he gave me a spill that he did not have any money for a shower n wanted to know if i would not mind if we team shower no but h-LL no lol
Going out with my trainer today, a bit nervous.

The way to get a team shower (in TA/Petro) is to go to the kiosk and get your shower slip, then walk up to the counter with your slip and request a team shower. Another slip is given to you that you then give to your codriver or to another trucker. For Pilot/FJ you have to go to the front counter and request a team shower and they will print out two separate shower tickets for you.
The reason why a fellow trucker may have need for a shower usually is because he/she has run out of shower credits, or may be stopped at a truck stop their company doesn't use. Whenever requested I always provide a team shower, and if I overhear a trucker getting turned down by another ignorant trucker I'll step up and simply give them one of the showers on my credit.Redtwin Thanks this. -
If your trainer wants to check to see if you're still wet behind the ears, politely decline

"Schneider, party of five, your shower is ready"

That would be a great prank to play on a new or old trainer. Would love to see that posted up on YouTube.
I can not go OTR (or mega Co.) local only but the 2 or 3 I have applied to said I will be going thru some sort of training.
The way I see it OTR or local, training is training just one you get to walk away from after a few hours.
