I am not familiar with them. The only drivers I have run into with an axe to grind have been dry van guys. Any reefer guy I talk to seems to be doing OK.

This week will be 2250 miles. Little short because they were having trouble making sure I got in for my request. Shop work or needing to get home are the only time my miles are lower otherwise they run me pretty hard.

Each terminal operates as their own business. Each terminal tries to load you out and get you back to their area as soon as possible to continue running "their freight."
What my terminal does, for example, is shoot me to Cali and I might do a load or two out there then load back to OK so I am back in their running area.
From what I can gather the terminals all do this with varying levels of success.

    Fajo and Drew352 Thank this.

Sorry for the long delay, I would of answered sooner but I have not had time to fire my laptop up and answering off my Iphone sucks lol. As for the Lakeland terminal I don't know much about it, I unfortunately don't go down to Florida very often to be able to visit it and I have not been there sense they built the new terminal. I have met some cool drivers tho out of there that seemed to like where they were, The only problem they seemed to have was it was kind of hard to get back down into Florida from the West as it normally took them multiple hops before they scored a load back down to Florida.

Only advice I can give on the terminal it self would be to talk to some Knight drivers that have the "Lakeland, FL." Sticker on there side box (It identifies them from that terminal) As far as miles go I can say they all try to keep there drivers busy, As long as your not super picky on loads (Turn them down constantly) you will pretty much always be moving.

Btw Misesian, I'm in your neck of the woods. I'm outside of Higginsville, MO. getting a reset in then delivering this load to Allantown, PA.!!

    Drew352 Thanks this.

Cool I just came through there yesterday. I am at the fabled dirt lot in ochelata at Walmart.
Got the truck washed this morning and it looks great. Feels good driving shiny equipment. Exit 84 truck wash in russellville next to flying j.

Heading to winter haven, fl. I have the dog with me this time. She is doing well but I think I will end up boarding her again. There just isn't enough space in these trucks.

At the lakeland terminal and deliver tomorrow. My next load is 100 miles away going to Denver. Can't pick up or deliver on time. It will get there when it gets there.

    Fajo Thanks this.

That's par for Knight...I'd estimate 85% of their loads are late in getting dispatched...frankly I don't know how they keep customers with as many late loads as they do...it's mind boggling.
