Does Knight still have a terminal there?

 

I was going to say, if you're a non smoker and it was from Indy, it'd be for me lol I leave for my 4 weeks with a trainer tomorrow from the Indy terminal at noon. I got everything set. Only bringing one bag and bedding stuff. But its been two weeks since I've been in a truck. I'll get the rust worked out real quick.

 

Haha that would be! Did you accept the trainee or turn it down? I have been waiting for 2 weeks. I just got a call today around 3:30, saying to be at the terminal at noon, and that my trainer will be there. Not sure if that means at noon or later.

 

Dang, that would've been pretty cool to get you as a trainer. That may also tell me that I can expect to be out for 4 weeks straight. If I was the person they where talking about. It'll still be a positive experience, and I'm sure I'll catch ya around sometime.

 

It gets kind of amusing with me, Currently I have no trainee on my truck and I guess non smoking trainers must be at a premium. Keep getting calls from other terminals to take there trainee's but have to keep turning them down. The route im on now all I do is run back and forth from one or two customers, I'm back home every 2 1/4th days and normally off for 1 to 2 days (Normally load the next load but has a extra day on it) so unless the guy lives in or around my area he spends alot of down time on the truck it self. =\

When I do get one tho its alot of fun, We find ways to entertain our self's on the 12 hour drive to drop and the 14 hour drive back. =P Constant hometime for the trainee and my self is also a nice incentive as we both get to be home so the trip changes to 2 days out 2 days off.
