Going to buy my truck cash, need help

Good, cause i posted the link for him to get the low down on all the provisions. Yeah i didnt post EXACTLY what he gets as he didnt post his EXACT QUALIFICATIONS. I posted the link so he could get it for himself, or call an actual tax professional to get the information

 

Don't take tax advice from people on a message board. Talk to an accountant and MAKE SURE you can use the proceeds from the sale of your house to buy a truck without paying taxes on the money first. The fastest way to kill your new trucking company is to owe a bunch of taxes that you can't afford to repay. A lot of new owner operators wind up bankrupt because of tax problems.

 

I sort of agree, you can kill a company fast that way but a faster way is not taking advice on how to run one.

 

I would flip that house and do it again. You like your job.
Do a lot of research before you buy a truck.
Or jump in the water with lead shoes, thats what I did.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Will you have a consistent opportunity for work. Make a list of what and why you like your current job. Will you be able to duplicate those items being a truck owner.
Why not include your current employer in your idea. Talking to them is the only way to know all your options.
