Well, I was supposed to leave on Mon. 1/24 for Prime orientation but Howard Transportation called and said they would send someone to pick me up this coming Sat. 1/29/11 to take me down to Mississippi to attend their orientation. I decided to go with Howard. If anyone knows anything about what I can expect at the Howard orientation I'd appreciate it!

A big round of applause for my man Rowdy Finn. Trust me RF, you will learn a lot so just take it in and listen to your trainer.

Why is it all those regional flat bed companies, hang onto those I-9000's??

I can name 4 or 5 companies alone, that have a full fleet of them!

    Hope you speka da spanish......

HOWARD got busted a couple years back for having a factory full of illegal aliens workin.

Last time I went in there to deliver was when I ran for Deep South.
Spent 30+ minutes lookin for someone who could understand the words.. "I AM HERE TO DELIVER THIS LOAD."

When i drove for them in 1994, they would hang you out running up and down I-77 between IN/OH/PA and the Carolinas for 3 or 4 weeks at a time.

May be different now that the steel industry has gone to pot.

My husband works for them ....gets treated well and gets home every or every other weekend. Hes been all over the eastern half of the US and Texas and Oklahoma. I don't think hes been to Florida or Maine.

You could have done a lot worse.
