    Slim,
Please please please don't go with CR England. We get so many drivers coming from these puppy mill companies. They all tell the same stories
and i want you to know that there are reasons why they tell the same stories as each other...because it is true.

Check with Millis also; read somewhere they sometimes finance the admin fees.

Comcar in Florida also has a CDL training program; it's on their website.

What the cr england recruiter fails 2 tell u that their training program is 90 days and if u manage 2 last that long they will tell u that they don't have any company trucks next time your on interstate look at their trks the ones that start with a 9 is a lease operator and the ones that start with a 5 are company trks it's very rare that u find the ones that start with a 5 because cr england is about leasing u either lease or quit ask your recruiter about training program it's 2 phases 1st phase is 30 days out with trainer and 1st day u drive team and 2nd phase u are put in trk with another 2nd phase student that graduated a week before u and u drive team for .13mi

We'll leave for orientation on the 24. I chose night because I really don't want leasing a truck to be forced on me right after training. I don't think I will be ready for that. I'll keep posting here to let everyone know how it's going and If I think I made the right choice. That's all for now.

Well in a matter of hours things have changed. I am no longer going to Knight. They called and told me a wasn't approved for training because I had too long of a period of unemployment. Who would have thought being a stay at home dad would bite me in the ###.

Best advice I've got is pick the one you want to go to yeah there are good and bad and bad and worse been around trucks all my life trying to get started driving myself. You will always have people say bad things about one company or another and ones that say good things. Like I said it's all about what you like and what you want. Good luck to all of you guys.
