You like the cold up there? I could never lol.
-
That must have been nice, getting such a nice load right out of there.
So, how did you like your first load to Maine?Feedman and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
Southerners never dress for it. I don’t just love it, but it’s worth putting up with to live here lol.OldMainiac, Feedman and nextgentrucker Thank this.

Man... Cool.OldMainiac and Feedman Thank this.

It was great man, thanks, didn't like the mountains on I-84 and the cold though lol, that's the kind of loads that I like, these long loads, usually with Cypress, like 90% of the time they give you short loads that we deliver everyday. Hate how they operate lol, that's the second reason I'm not staying with them, the in-cab camera is first and their slow *ss trucks is third. Didn't mean to turn that reply into a rant, it kinda happened LOL!! But yeah, it was good.OldMainiac, Feedman and Moosetek13 Thank this.

Why did you leave Cypress anyway, better ventures elsewhere?

The end dumps were dreadfully slow, it was rare to have enough work for the week, I did flatbed when dumps weren’t running, not my cup of tea though. I have a buddy who still does it and it’s much better now, steady work and good pay. I have nothing bad to say about cypress, their maintenance was top notch.
nextgentrucker Thanks this. -
Have a safe trip budnextgentrucker Thanks this.

Cool, yeah, Cypress is a decent company, I just don't like their operation ( the way they schedule their loads ), their slow trucks and the freaking in-cab camera, other than that decent company. Flatbed ain't it for me also lol, that's another why I'm gonna leave, that's my first time driving in the winter and man... Doing Flatbed loads in the winter is no joke, I'm in Virginia right now and it's 25 degrees outside, crazy lol, I was outside fixing my load and my hands was freezing even with gloves on, Dry Van drivers don't have to worry about that. I'm finishing my year than I'm heading over to Tanker.Last edited: Dec 22, 2024
