    I met the guy U2 was writing about in Springfield once... wasn't impressed by him. Got another guy like him posting over in the "Tips for New Truckers" thread - they have it all figured out, no one knows more about trucking than they do, and no one is going to tell them otherwise.

    Well back.Fourth day,was turky day didnt do much.I got with my trainer been gone since that night left pittston PA.Now we are sittin at wallyworld warehouse in CA,by way of miami FL ,got around 5000 + miles in lookin to get a run in tonight to shut it down.Not bad so far ,but i do think the truck is way under powered.THey crame fuel mileage down ya throat.

    Don't mean to hijack your thread Slowmo, but I went and got my permit today.

    Passed very easily. It was much easier than I thought it might be.

    Anyway, I'm glad to get that overwith... now I can focus on getting my ducks in a row with other stuff at home before I leave and with stuff I need to bring with me when I go to orentation and such.

    Be careful out there, and keep the reports coming Slowmo!
