As an experienced driver, i can tell you that is below the industry average :mlaugh:
And some carriers promote by using the "Peter Principle" so be ready for that

Man, I can't explain how much has passed the past two weeks, lets just say, theres alot to learn, but your instructors on the first week or phase one and T.E. on phase two all want to see you succeed and pass. My instructor on the yard is Larry Pockett and on road T.E. was Roger Brown. Both were professional and showed me the SNI way and made it really fun, both were layed back but weren't lacking in instruction and professionalism. Going into phase 3 and they gave me the green light to go....can't wait to trade stories with out students. Also experienced driving in the rain and a blow out coming back to the O.C. on our last day. Also we drove the I-5 Corridor to Albany Oregon and experienced ALOT...and I mean ALOT of frigg'n' hills that are worse than the Grape Vine, and I drove a good 90% of the time. Hope to update you guys soon this week.

I go to orientation Monday in Lebanon TN. for 3 days. I think i'll go out with a trainer because I haven't driven a truck in a couple of years.

I received a conditional job offer from Schneider. I'm hoping to start a week from Tuesday. Just wondering how your experience has been so far?

For me, it's been great and so it has been with the 5 other people I keep in touch with that graduated the academy with me. Miles are slow right now but I'm not in it for the money. I'm in it for the experience. My training Dbl was great and so it my current dbl, they always keep me moving, and in return I don't bug them calling them and nagging for Lon haul mile loads. I take whatever assignment they give me and I deliever it. In return, they take care of me and give me my time off on time!

Glad to hear you are liking it, but it sucks about the miles. About how many miles a week are you considering low?
I have also been following your vids on you tube. You haven't posted anything in a while, but I understand. Stay safe

I just got approved by the Pumpkin and Crete, Waiting to here from Maverick before I make my final decision. I'm very excited about my career change. I've been driving local doing LTL and Foodservice for 6yrs. I've been itching to OTR for awhile now...very excited, be safe out there.
