I dont think he was being a tough guy really, seems to me you were pretty insulting about guys like him that enjoy a lifestyle you dont. You're both right about what works for you; probably in a short while you'll move on to something that suits you better but meantime if you re-read your posts you'll probably see you might be a bit disparaging about the way of life of some of the guys here supporting you. Its great you're so proud of you're army life, good luck to you, but I wouldnt swap it in a million years for my unhealthy otr life. Just different see?

My oldest is in the Army...he's looking at a new "career" also. I hear ya. They wouldn't take me due to my severe color blindness....I would've followed suit; instead I stayed home and took care of the cattle in my younger years.

I was nuts to go to basic training at 37 but they were accepting up to 42 in the mid 2000's
