If you are OTR, you would have to find a gym that has a nationwide membership, IIRC Bally's and one other do. You would most likely have to be able to drop your trailer at a TS and bobtail someplace, but that opens up a whole different can of worms. Another option or two, just go jogging every day, or carry a bicycle and put in a few miles. Watched a CR England driver do that in Cheyenne a few days back. He parked, changed clothes, unloaded his mtn. bike from off the back of the sleeper, lubed the chain, then took off. When I left after lunch, about 45 minutes later, he was just coming back.

If you want to go local anyway, and want to workout get with McClane or Sysco doing food delivery and fingerprinting loads.

I bought a jump rope and was like hey let's exercise. Couldn't breath very well for a while. This year and a half of OTR has really softened me up. Got to ease into it with some short walks I guess.

Well I guess it's a short walk to McDonalds...

I have two friends that work out regularly. The first one started out as a furniture/households mover. His company was I-go with competitors like Mayflower and United Van Lines. Truck drivers don't like jobs like this because you end up moving refrigerators and freezers as well as furniture. They sleep in motels usually so if the motel fitness equipment is not to your standards the desk people at the hotel should know where a local gym is located.

The he other one did food service which involves loading two wheelers going down ramps and stocking shelves. This involves lifting which again truck driver don't like doing anything other than driving.

I'd just knock out some crunches and run with ankle weights every night... That's what I plan on doing... A couple dumbbells and you're set...
