Great. Me and my family? We do our best to avoid it. And do a pretty good job at that. There’s people all over the country farming without GMO’s. Meat, produce, dairy. Find them and give them your money instead of the supermarket

Many truck drivers I've met are real tools. -
Blackshack46, Slim51 and HopeOverMope Thank this. -
I'm about to pick up an Instant Pot to replace a bunch of cookware in the truck. A friend of mine had one that I used to make yogurt with and it came out pretty good. That will free up a lot of space not having to lug around separate appliances.
I prefer to eat fortified cereal over taking vitamins. Multigrain Cheerios are what I eat normally, but there are a few others that are high in vitamins. Then I grab a can of V8 for my A and C. B12 is going to be an important vitamin to get. Some drinks at the truck stops have B12, but make sure to watch how they're sweetened.
They're making plant based burgers now that feel, taste, and even bleed like meat. But what's the point when it's got 20g of coconut fat in it? -
I think being a veggieterian might be ok. You can still eat fish, chicken. And since pork is the other white meat, eat that too.

It's very easy being vegan on the road, get a rice cooker or something similar to steam your vegies, that along with your fridge and microwave you are good as golden. I do it, always go to Walmart. YouTube ISLANDTRUCKER
Bizzarrogeorge Thanks this. -

But pork is the other white meat. So it’s healthy and vegetarian.

I eat bacon. Super healthy.

I threw away my cooker.
If you eat raw fruits and vegetables you get more fiber (aka complex carbohydrates). These CC's are loaded with enzymes, vitamins, flavinoids, and probiotics. Cooking destoys all of those.
I didn't set out to eat the way I do a tad over four years ago. It just happened as I committed to eliminating high fructose corn syrup from my diet. I eventually stopped eating grains of any kind. That was a shocker, as good bread was a joy. I've found that replacing all those cooked carbohydrates with fresh fruit and vegetables made bread or grains less desirable. One meal a day is what I call the ##### Slap Salad, with plenty of fresh herbs folks normally use to season their cooked food, topped with ginger, garlic, turmeric, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil.
The olive oil is a great source of energy. Uncooked plant based oils are essential for good brain function. I get about 500 calories per day from olive oil and avocados.
If my ##### Slap Salad is for breakfast I can work at least 6-8 hours before I get hungry again. When I say work I don't mean just driving. I pull flatbed.Bizzarrogeorge, Blackshack46, RStewart and 2 others Thank this.
