I have been buying vegetables in steamer packs. Putting them in the cooler. Something healthy for a few days. I'll pull the passenger chair soon and put a fridge their .

Rather than eat precious vegetables that have to be grown in fertile soil it is a far far better thing to eat a cow that ate nothing but grass grown on mediocre dirt.

    Lepton1 and 77fib77 Thank this.

You think wrapping your food in a petroleum product and heating it up is healthy?

I'd even take that a step further in the name of true freedom by tossing the TV in the trash where it belongs. They don't call it "programming" for nothing. 98 percent of the population has no idea just how much that digital toilette tells them what to think on every topic imaginable.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

From the article I should get a glass pot to heat up the vegetables. Plastic is not best option. Something to think about.

    DSK333 and Lepton1 Thank this.

Agreed! Seen it with the kids and their shows. Tv went out the door about 3 months ago. We've never been more intuned with what we gotta do with life.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Think about how many clothes are petroleum based like nylon, acrylic, polyester. They sell/market it to you like it's some great invention or added quality to your life. Rich people don't wear/eat it; why should we? Cotton, silk and wool are superior. It's quite challenging to find a true 100 percent natural fiber these days in brick and mortar stores. I do my best to avoid petroleum products in/around my food and body unless I'm burning them for fuel.

I didn't read all of this but for what its worth I gave up meat a year ago and it was easy! I had heard a interview with Bill Clinton and while I can care less about the guy it hit home with me for some reason. He eats nothing with a Mother or a face. Made sense to me and my feelings so I rolled with it and have never looked back. It was simply changing the MIND. I love animals and take care of many.

Not vegan here though because I still eat eggs.

I had given up dairy already a few years ago because it just made me feel like crap all of the time. Almond milk took care of that issue.

So you're not eating meat because you love animals?

No not at all it all started because I was sick of eating meat...plain and simple. I also love animals.
