    Hello one & all,

I am new to this forum but have been reading other's posts for the past few weeks. Lot's of good info.

I was wondering if anyone might have some insight to Greatwide Logistics and any of their various divisions?

Looks like the closest one to me will be CRL at their New Caney, Texas location.

Looking at a company driver position, not interested in Lease or O/O at this time.

    Thanks for your time.

Team driving from what I understand and I'm not sure about availability of those jobs. I am now working with a former driver for them.

If you want to be a company driver you are looking at the wrong company... esp the walmart stuff which New Caney is... You can hire on and drive an o/o's tractor.. but they have no company drivers . as far the team driving the above mentioned.. out of New Caney you wouldnt really need a team.. most runs are 100 to 600 mile turns..

Hey I appreciate the quick responses.

I talked with someone at the New Caney location & sure enough they don't have company drivers.

Might look for an O/O that could use a driver for the time being. At least that might be an in to eventually hooking up as a Walmart company driver in the future.

Not really looking for a big company but at least Walmart seems to take care of their drivers.

Must be different among the locations because Greatwide has company drivers here in Florida.

    Hello,

I posted a while back about getting help finding a OTR job. Well I found one, Greatwide Dedicated as a hire on driver for a O/O. He's starting me at .36 a mile. So I think it's ok for being first time OTR. Orientation is on Thursday, So wish me luck!

    Thanks!

Hopefully you are going to Tyson account. Wal-mart accounts seem to be pretty slow.
