gone,but will never be forgotton

hey guys and gals,this is very hard for me to put into words.i drove for 21 yrs and have been in almost every state.mountains,valleys,deserts and plains.pulled all the damdest mountains,been in every situation and had the time of my life.seen things "you wouldnt beleive"and been there,done that.but never considered myself a "super trucker".drove everything from a "cornfeild caddiliac" to a chromed out "petercar".been a chicken hauler,steel hauler,dirt hauler,portable parking lot,and a grocery hauler.but all that came to a sudden and tragic end on oct 27th,08.i just got home after delivering my load at wabash national,in lafayette,indiana.parked my bobtail at the yard and my wife picked me up.it was going like any other wknd.after going to look at furniture,we went to krogers to do some grocery shopping.we shopped and went out to the car to go home.when i got to the car my wife said i stood straight up from the cart,grabbed my chest and said"baby,i love you" and fell straight backwards on the ground.I was dead!!a bystander immediately gave me CPR and revived me.they came and took me to the hosp where i died again.i got revived and was lifelined to another hosp where i died again!!they got me going and now i have a pacemaker/defibulater implanted in my chest.NEVER to drive again.so everyone,please be thankful for everyday you have out there!!!and traea everyone like its your last day!!!please stop all the fighting on the cb's and ALWAYS kiss your wife and husband,kids goodby.i truely miss my trucking life.its all i lived for.except my wife and kids.i wish i could be back out there with you but i cant!!!so god bless you all and send me a pic once in awhile..ill really appreciate it!!!KEEP ON TRUCKING!!!!!!
