Having gone through this thread, it is a reminder to be as attentive and patient as possible as a student trainee, both in the classroom and out in the truck. Learn and retain as much as possible, taking LOTS of notes, to be able to function as a solo driver.
Good luck to all student drivers and veteran drivers alike!
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!wolf71 and texasbbqbest Thank this. -
That's when you call Stan Kasterke and the fleet manager and say here's the deal. I'd bet you could get transferred to another truck at a truck stop somewhere.FullMetalJacket, albert l and redoctober83 Thank this.

This is not good at all. First trip out and now truck breaks down. Something says " air intake system problem detected 25 percent derate" no shops open till monday and load supposed to deliver monday. Figures my luck catching up with me again.
Hope this is just a quick fix.
Hate having lost revenue and time. At least this is a warranty fix.
Thanks for letting me vent -

Crappy couple days. Truck has a code air intake system problem detected 25 percent derate. Had to wait 2 days for the shop in Richmond va to open. Now get to wait till late this afternoon to see what is wrong and how long to fix. Really bad its my first load. Guess the old saying is right. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at al . Lol
