On the 6th of April this will get my first day attending Nettts school in Bridgeport CT it's a 5 month long course. I am very excited and this was my dream for a while now. If everything goes to plan I will graduate Sept 5th. I know the 1st year trucking the pay will be crap but what are good company's to look into that treat you pretty good as a newbie, that does mainly New England area?

USA truck operates a lot up there bud, Schneider does as well. You might get lucky and be able to get a local job in that area and be home every day, hard to say, check those two out though, might be worth it might not. You were right about the money, won't make much in the first year but if you make it past that its all gravy! Good luck!!

Get the tanker/hazmat endorsements with a passport & TWIC for the better paying jobs.

Only reason why I picked the 22 week long course is cause they accept financial aid, then whatever is leftover you pay through federal government little by little.

TMC will pay around .46/mile if you go %. I made over 58000 my first year with them. They got tons of freight in CT. (Im in ct right now with a load)
