95 is just a bad stretch for finding good shops.

Just about anywhere is a bad stretch nowadays, anybody with a pulse thinks there a cb technician.

I know of Bell's, but I heard recently that they were taking very few in to repair as he is working solo, or at least partial staff. I do hear good stuff about his operation though. I think I will give them a shout, maybe he can get my radio in for repair.

I asked that guy with the cb shop at the I-75 chrome shop if he could take a look at my magnum?
He said he didn’t want anything to do with it.
He said contact bobs cb but had no contact info?

I appreciate that, I am going to call Bell's tomorrow, if they can't look at it I will be looking up contact info for Bob's. I'm pretty sure it's only a bad solder point, it works perfect and all of a sudden it won't transmit, I can barely push up on the mic wire where the plug goes into the radio and works again for a while.

Do you still have the original mic?
I upgraded mine to the astatic noise canceling mic and it works great.
It’s the American flag edition and I bought it at raneys chrome shop in Ocala.
Might be an easier/ better fix to just pick up a good mic?

I have a 636L on it now, was using a chrome RK56, and recently tried a stock Cobra mic, the result is the same with all 3, seems it's something where the plug goes into the radio. I used it a while thinking the RK56 was bad.
