Good companies for local and regional o/o in nj?!

Go on Craigslist . North Jersey/transport . Lots of New Jersey jobs . Are you from NJ or NY ? You can work the rails for like 5 different companies and be home each day . Stay away from the port . Wakefern start times are 2-4 am done by noon . The pay is great from what I was told . I work out of Jersey currently myself rail work . I like being home each day for the time being . I'm from NY and wakefern just wasn't a good fit .

 

Do you have to have your own authority for Wakefern or do U Haul under theirs?

OWNER OPERATOR'S DEDICATED WAKEFERN

Trying to lease on as an O/O for Food Haulers is virtually impossible from what I read. You have to know somebody to get in. Lucrative Union contract too. Food Haulers don't seem to have a website either. I would imagine you would have to contact Wakefern/ShopRite for more info.

Food Haulers is also known as NTS (National Transport Services).

 

Wakefern seems to pay pretty #### good for O/O's to be running trucks like these....

Also found out that Grocery Haulers use to do Pathmark and A&P before they went under. ACME now owns them including Superfresh. You'll see these type of O/O's working at ACME too. Grocery Haulers moved on to the Bakery Industry and now work for Bimbo Bakeries and Bakers Express. They also tend to hire O/O's also.

Wafern used to have a crap ton of Big Rides working for them. Tho i still see some, they are few and far between. Look i’ll be honest i don’t anything here, but what i’ve seen. Imo they are past their hayday as far as o/o’s are concerned. Most all the Big rides have rode on down the pike
