Call Button transportation in Dixon Ca. They run I-5 corridor mostly. If you're considering Indian River Id call Button. I worked for them for 2 years. Good company, good pay, detention pay (you don't even have to fight to get it) and really nice equipment. 3500 watt inverters in trucks. Go home when you want. No problem taking truck home. Try are based in Dixon but also have a yard in Merced. Trucks are mainly autos. They have a few standards left in the fleet.

 

They have been replacing the tractors and trailers....tractors for TL is 2016 Volvo 12 spd automatic, also have 2013 Freightliner Cascadia 10 speed....the International ProStars are for leasing....stay away from that! Trailers will be getting 25 more new ones in April to go with the 25 we just got a few months back along with 25 from 2014 and some Wabash from 2010. They are trying to phase out the old trailers for obvious reasons.

 

It will depend on your experience....there is a sign on bonus but I don't know how much or how it is paid....we mostly run the I-5 up to Seattle area and back down. There are runs out to SLC and ID from SoCal (Harbor Freight tools)....the only freight we have where driver does tailgate pallets is Smart & Final stores....but that is out of the L.A. group. Not a bad gig...and home or through the house every week. Little slow right now, like everyone is, but we are still doing 2500(ish) a week.

Check with Troy...he will probably have you contact a recruiter...my recommendation is to ask for George out of Sacramento, he will be a lot more honest with you compared to Anthony down in Ontario.
