Good company for 1-6 months of otr experience?

    Well that depends on that specific terminal. I know my terminal in Orlando, Fl you need your actual cdl. One would have to contact that specific terminal to see if they would hire with a permit but I do know some terminals will hire you and send you to school for your cdl which is 8 weeks long. I don’t know which ones do that but I believe Atlanta, GA does that but don’t quote me on that. But they are short drivers up there.

    Try to stay patient. I know that sounds hollow when you have been gobsmacked like this. Having a run of bad luck is something almost all of us have had to endure. Not pleasant at all. After six months check out Comcar. They are very near Orlando and I am almost willing to bet you will find a home in one of their 4 divisions. They generally run good tractors but their trailers last I heard are generally wore out. I refered them to someone last week and they got hired by the CCC division and I think just finished orientation. Comcar does have an OTR division. Check them out.
