I live in Louisville, KY and I'm starting cdl training at Truck America Training tomorrow. The govt is paying for it since I'm laid off from my current job so I don't have to worry about paying it back to a company over the long haul. I'm wondering what companies have hubs around here or what companies run through here a lot so that when I do need so when I'm going on or coming off of home time it won't be a big ordeal. I realize that the pay won't be that great right now, I'm just looking to get out there and drive all over the place, see some of the country, and make a few bucks till the economy picks back up. I'm single with no kids and a small house payment. Thanks for the advice and years of knowledge!

Try Moorman Transportatation in Utica , KY . They run hopper bottom and run through Louisville a lot . They load quite a few trucks at Swift in Louisville . They also have local runs and do drop and hooks at Pillsbury in New Albany and Grandma's Cookies in Louisville going to Bakery Feeds in Henderson KY .
