Have a friend recently lose a front fender this way.
Back into a spot. Lay down wondering not if but when truck is going to get hit. The reason I sometimes pull into parking, usually sleep better.

 

Take lots of pictures, document everything that happened and call your insurance company.

I also tell my drivers to get the other guys personal info by copying the license info, not just have him or her put it on paper.

Also call your lawyer and have him/her do follow ups.

 

Jeez! Have you not been saying prayers to Trucking Gods so they treat you this way?
At that point I'd want to jump from a high bridge to a river... Or at least have a drink.

 

See this then go and buy a new rig for $160 000.
On the serious note, seeing all this element driving trucks these days, I do know now why I spend all that money at Pilots and TAs to park.

 

I hate to see that. Stuff like this is why I drove 60 miles out of the way last night to park.
