I am going to start making deliveries in Kingston and Ottawa in 2 weeks.

Just wonder if anyone can share their choice and experience with GPS app, that is accurate and useful for these locations.

    Thanks in advance.

Google map it out and write down the directions. GPS can't be trusted. Especially when doing LTL.

I also use Google maps Also and then zoom in and out to get a bird eyes view of wherever i’m going incase i need to use a different route for what ever reason . I wouldn’t rely just on a gps but if i were to buy one it would probably be a Rand McNally one because they make the old road Atlas we all use to use or still do

I use Google maps, check things out with satellite view to see how the entrances to where I am going look like, verify the route to my city truck route map (if I'm not familiar with the area).

When we ran a 1 ton courier truck in the city we used Google maps and put in all the stops then moved them around in Google maps to get the best route to avoid doubling back or putting on extra miles that were not needed. It worked really well.

I used to deliver all around Kinston and Ottawa years ago, and never needed no steenkin' GPS...

On night, I delivered to some paper recycling mill down right by the Ottawa river (in Hull, PQ), and took my 8 hours rest in their parking lot. In the morning I woke up, looked out my windshield and......I was directly across the river from the Canadian Parliament building! It was above me on the bluff, about 50' up. I doubt an 18 wheeler could get within even a mile of the US Congress building even back then!
