Good lord I must've seen 50 Amazon trailers being pulled today

Someone posted their contract on here which, IIRC, was ridiculous.

There was a particular broker I deal with that offered me an Amazon load the other day.. was barely $2 a mile. So I would imagine going direct would be the best choice here

Not every trailer has millions of electronics. Kind of like ours it is a mix. Hell sometimes we have nothing, or pallets, or cardboard bales......

As an Amazon shopper, I can attest to the cheap junk in the trailers.... Yesterday I received a $3 phone charger cord, $2 phone case, $8 of canned cat food, $ 5 box of paper towels and a $12 pair of Sketchers sneakers from the discount warehouse. Nothing worth stealing for resale. (I literally will not set foot in Walmart)

I’d think it depends on what city that freight is going to. If it’s going to the northeast I’d bet there’s a lot of electronics in that trailer. Probably 30 or so laptops valued at $200+, bunch of kitchenware, tools, big screen TVs, car parts, etc.

Of course in the mix of that are piles of cheap junk.

So you order from a company that treats it's employees worse? Yea, that makes sense.

At least Amazon employs people from your neighborhood to deliver your merchandise, plus Amazon pays all that property tax to keep your city, county and schools funded.

I hate the chaos and filth of the local Walmart and the sullen employees. Our local grocery stores offer a far better selection of food at better prices as well. If I need electronics, I research online and buy online. Walmart just doesn't offer any incentive to choose them over Amazon or another local store.

I live in a good community filled with good people so our Walmart is a friendly, cheap place to buy stuff. I go to our local IGA for my grocery’s and to the locally owned butcher shop for most of my meats.
But maybe if I lived in a place like you I would feel differently.
