Got the physical done, and with some better numbers than I expected.
20/15 vision, which surprised me. My near vision is not good, but it was taken with a regular eye chart.
I do worse when it is on the machine, being so close to my eye.
My BP was 138/82, but is good because that top number was relaxed to 140 recently.
It took me a while figuring out how to submit the documents on-line, and I'm not sure if the photo I took with my phone of the medical card will be OK. When I e-mailed it to me it had been compressed and just barely legible. The self-certification form was a PDF file, and after figuring how to add my signature and save it back to a PDF that part should be OK.
All the info on the med card was entered separately, so hopefully the actual photo can confirm the data enough.

Today I had my smallest and lightest load ever.
Olathe, KS to Hazelwood, MO, an Amazon load.
2 very small boxes, 1 pound total. -
Wow!
Is everyone having some very bad days, or what?!
No one is posting anything anymore except me?
Getting a bit lonely in here. -
I'm SO GLAD that 2020 is finially over. I realize that just because it's a new year that things are not going to instantly get better, but 2020 was such a crappy year that I'm really glad it's finally in the rear view mirror.
The job I took back in October had great promise (2800-3300 miles a week @ $.50 a mile) but has fizzled. I rarely drive more than 3 days a week which makes me think that our "on site manager" isn't doing her job. I had to tell her 3 times yesterday that the paperwork that accompanies the IFTA stickers was NOT a cab-card and that I would NOT drive the truck with an expired registration. She FINIALLY got it and emailed me a copy of the registration which I was able to print out.
2020 could have been a lot worse (than it was) for my family. Nobody caught Covid and I've been able to pay all of my bills.JOHNQPUBLIC, Moosetek13, Rugerfan and 1 other person Thank this. -
2020 was so bad because it was all down hill. At least 2021 should all be on the uphill slope.
JOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this. -

Pretty much the same thing for me as well, running between St. Louis and KC and thereabouts.
I shut down today because of some weather, but this load has the time to get it done tomorrow without being late.
550 miles total to get to the pick up at the drop yard in E. St. Louis, IL and then deliver at Target in Topeka, KS by midnight tomorrow.dptrucker Thanks this. -
I got sick this year. Maybe it was Covid but I can't be certain.
I was injured taking a fall during a fuel stop. Slipped on spilled fuel and took a hard fall that left me scraped up, bruised and swollen in several places.
And my DOT physical was hard to get to and my DM had to schedule in a home time request to get me the time. I just hope my CDL isn't in limbo because of getting it done so late.
Other than that, 2020 was also a pretty good year for me.dptrucker Thanks this. -
I had 4 hrs left on clock when the load finally showed up.
so I just drove here to the t/a in barstow ca.
should be in beaver ut around 1400 tomorrow. maybe sooner if I get up earlier lol -
