assune it was the dock causing the issues. but will call them.
took tablet off the dock last nite and powered it off.
turned it back on and still doing same

 

You today's drivers must have the patience of a saint having to go thru the headaches associated with those computers and all the electronic nightmares. If I had those problems with my logs back in my day I just made a new page and voila problem solved.

 

A new page can solve a multitude of problems ...

 

Miami, AZ at Walmart.

I was sent 2 pplans late this morning, both Costco loads and both delivering near Las Vegas between 0430 and 0530.
I countered both with a 0800 delivery time, but they were live unloads so that didn't fly.
The thing is, both loads had been ready for the past 2 days and they wait until I won't have time to do it. If they would have sent the pplan at 0800 I would have taken it. Oh well.

But then another plan came in a few minutes later, picking up here in Miami and delivering in southern IL on the 10th. About 1600 miles total, and I grabbed it quick.
Loading took nearly 5 hours so it was a bit late when I shut down. I'm glad there is a friendly Walmart here.

 

Planners are too impatient.

I was sent a pplan this morning. It came through on my phone as a text, but not to the Zonar. Connectivity problems in the area I was at.
It came through half an hour later, but my fuel stop was the first place I could stop at any rate.
I got there and sent a mac 9 accepting the load, and it was invalid. It had already been taken off me, after less than 1 hour. 55 minutes, actually.

A few days ago, the same thing. Along a stretch that has no place to stop, and I won't pull to the side of the highway to respond, and just as I am pulling off it is removed. Again, 1 hour.

I AM DRIVING HERE!!! Don't expect me to pull over as soon a pplan comes in! I have a time schedule to keep and I may not pull over for a couple hours.

And that most recent pplan didn't even deliver until tomorrow after I delivered this load tomorrow. Why the rush?

 

ended up calling zonar fridsy morning.
she did all she could do to try to get it to work.
put truck in shop friday evening and they said the dock thingy is backed ordered up to 2 weeks.
so got a loaner and ran local since other drover was off.
he is off thursday and friday but my dl says lathrop had a replacement.

 

Hey! Take the good dock out of the loaner truck and put it in my truck.
Much less trouble than for me to swap trucks, twice.

 

pretty sure i screw that up somehow. lol
can we switch tablet ? or is it signed into that truck only?

I got here at around 1400, no pplan yet.
At around 1630 I decided to do some laundry since it was unlikely that a load was forthcoming.
One person was using all the machines, so I had to wait for a washer. Once I was ready for a dryer I had to wait again, since the dryers take longer and there an equal number of washers and dryers here.

It is nice having free washers and dryers, but not nice when 1 person decides to take every one for hours.
I only need one, and they took all three for more than 3 loads.
