Currently at home flying to Phx on Monday for Heartland Orientation. Hope they are telling the truth about running LA / Vegas / Phx home every 6 days.

I usually ignore that light. In fact, on-road has told me to ignore it without other symptoms being present because oftentimes it will clear itself after a few hours or days.

After 4 days things are starting to improve.
I was able to get out of the truck yesterday to go in and poop. (What a relief that was!)
That was a very slow shuffle, barely 12 inches per step.
Wednesday I had ordered a knee brace off Amazon which was set for delivery yesterday (Friday). When I got in to the store I spoke with the manager, explaining my situation and asking if someone could bring it to my truck when it came in. At around 1600 someone brought it to me.

Today was a bit better. Each day it gets a little better.
I was out of food and some supplies so I used PC to get to a store in Hannibal. I used the knee brace and was able to walk a bit more normally. Still little steps and my knee threatened to give out a couple times, but nothing bad happened.

I still can not use that leg very well and I'm not sure how long until I can actually take a load. I can't climb in to the trailer to sweep it, and probably not even get up to the cat walk to get the broom.
I have Sunday with no one in the office, so another day to get a bit better, then see what they want to do - and what I am able to do.

Really might want to see a Dr. I know you said same as I would. They’ll say keep off it and rest. But it just might be something a little bit worse. Jus saying.

    The_vett Thanks this.

If something is getting worse I'll see a doctor. If something is getting better... nope, no point.

I fell a few years ago. Got really scraped up, bruised a few ribs, maybe cracked one.
Still the same thing. A doctor can do nothing for that except to charge a lot of money for tests only to tell me what I already know.

I would feel it if something more were wrong. Something would not feel right because something would not be improving.
People are really too quick to rush to a doctor. And that just drives up costs for everyone.

    dptrucker and The_vett Thank this.

If it’s your ACL you’ll need surgery for sure. You can probably find some type of test on YouTube to see if it’s ok. If it’s the meniscus (cartilage) then it will depend on the tear if it can be repaired. If its the MCL or LCL (big swelling on left or right of the kneecap) it should heal itself over time.

    Its all about blood flow.

Not to jump into y'alls dealeo, but I'm wondering why you don't file a WC claim? This very well could be a very expensive deal.

The doctor can give you a steroid shot which will reduce the swelling and speed recovery
