Looking like I'm going to have to bobtail back to Lancaster to make the funeral. Glad fuel is still fairly cheap.

It could have been worse. You might have been too far away. -
It's hard to get much farther away than California

The cord coming out of the power adapter on my XM radio went south so I needed to buy another one.
I decided on the Onyx EZ ProPack.
TA had the main price at $99.99 with a $50 mail in rebate.
Well, when they rung it up the total came to around $121. I questioned it and was told that the price was $119.99 with $10 off.
It took about ten minutes of arguing to get them to give it to me for $99.99, and there were 10 or so people stuck in line waiting during this.
I apologized as I was leaving, but the second guy in line gave me a thumbs up and said "Good job". -
The terminal in Columbus. Doing something that I have not done at a terminal the whole time that I have been with Swift, a b service and DOT. Since I was on hold, lot faster getting it all done here and off hold. Then in the morning start on Bush's. Talked to my DM yesterday and he was telling me that one of his other L/O on his board on that account is doing quite well. Just the last week, 3900 miles and about 7% of that was mt. For the last 3 weeks now, averaging 3200 miles. Told me that as long as the planner knows that you are willing to work and can count on you then you will get the miles and if getting close to HOS then will get a load home so can do 34 there and not a truck stop and I live 20 miles from one of the DC's and 38 miles from another. Dollar General and Wal Mart
Think that I am going to enjoy this new account. Since just off hold, already stacked 3 load from tomorrow morning until Monday, here to MN and then down to TN and back to WI by Monday. Total miles 2900. She just told me that she pretty much runs her drivers out of their 70, and it is a requirement that the driver averages at least 3k per week, and the way that I run, no problem doing 3500 a week. I see me getting out of debt soon if this holdsLast edited: Jun 7, 2016

I like having my service and inspection done at Columbus, Tyrone runs a good shop.
Had to deadhead 220 miles for a load out of California , but it's a 15k load. Better than the 43k garbage they wanted me taking to the border, will probably drop in El Paso since my recap won't get me to Alabama by the 10th.
But I finally got my invitation to Command, so yay for me!
