Yeah that’s what I was trying to find….basically a rock auto type of a place but for big truck parts. Even something similar to gmpartsdirect.com would be nice. Something with a good online search tool so you can find exactly what you want. I don’t like getting parts on Amazon or eBay.
Good online source for repair parts for semi's?

FL is normally the cheapest place for cat, cummins, detroit parts. Don't matter the truck brand. -
Ryder fleet products was good. They're no longer.
You have to watch other sources like Amazon. There is a large amount of counterfeit parts made offshore copies.
Huge market and can't be stopped, had this conversation with a bendix executive years back. They had shelves of warranted parts that had bendix name on it. Yet it wasn't thier part when disassembled. And no government entity cares, and they fulfilled the warranty before it was noticed.
Buyer beware.Vampire Thanks this. -
Buying Quality Parts is not easy anymore. Even the regular genuine parts you buy from the genuine manufacturers will say made in China in Mexico Taiwan India wherever.
If you want to buy Like An air dryer you can buy the cheapest piece of crap on Amazon and it cost almost nothing. How long will something like that last? I would not want to be the one to take the chance.
But especially, anything that requires tooling, like machine parts like water pumps things like that. China just does not have the manufacturing ability to do that correctly. Or at least they don't have the quality standards to make sure that it is consistent.
One time I bought wheel bearings for my truck from transaxle. When they came it was some kind of a Hong Kong Phooey bearing. No way.
When I called the parts guy he said I'm sorry they're trying to start substituting some of that stuff in and I apologize I'll get you good Timken bearings.
Cheap Chinese junk is everywhere. The truck that you are working to make Dependable is the wrong place to cut the corner on that stuff.Vampire, black_dog106 and RefMata Thank this. -
