Not saying they aren’t good but for the part I looked up was listed as OEM and only after carefully reading and cross referencing P/N to other parts websites do you see its aftermarket. A reputable aftermarket brand but you would think it was OEM manufactured if you didnt recognize the P/N from an aftermarket part you had just seen on another website.

    Buy parts online, same thing

Find it parts states clearly that its aftermarket and what manufacturer its made by.

I just yesterday placed a order with allmaketruckparts.com
I hope all goes well. I got a door sill, vent window and latch for what Freightliner wanted for the door sill only. Supposed to be genuine Freightliner parts. We will see

Thanks for that info. I got an air compressor from them and some other odds and ends. No issues.

Dorman makes them and you can get them thru Oriely Auto parts. However, ill say do your own research for part numbers. Do not rely on the OReilly employee. Have a part number.

Yep I bought a Dorman driver side for one of my trucks. The passenger side is around the same price as the Freightliner one

I’ve bought a few things like a bumper, muffler and a DPF from Fleettruckparts.com. There was a potential issue with the DPF that the owner took care of himself. Wasn’t even an issue he was responsible for but he was ready to make it work. Impressed me. Shipping was very fast, too.

I have a new FL passenger in the box. Realistic FL parts are still pretty reasonable. And they still support old trucks. Most don't know ol FL was actually one of the most customizable truck from OEM. Pacar will sell stripes, FL let's you pick brand of wheel seals. In the past, if you had the money FL would build it.
