OK, this is a broad question. For an example, you hire on to co "A" at 60 cpm with no heralth insurance and no bonus plan. And you run 12K mi-a-mo consistantly. Or, you hire on with Co "B" at 55 CPM but have complete insurance and a fuel bonus and bonus for running over 10K per month. So Im comparing 2 co's that pay a difference of 5 cpm (cents per mi) What co would be your choice ? $$$ offered is a big part of it, but a decent truck to drive, home time, on time paychecks, nice freight lanes matter too.

The better paying opportunities in flatbed exist where you can move on up into oversize/overweight/heavy haul loads.
