That’s almost exactly what my issue is. Took it to international dealer in Phoenix and was told it was a wiring harnesses in the hvac that was shorting this out.... five days later I hope for their sake it’s fixed... lol!

That was my fan clutch issue. Changed two sensors, the selenoid.......nothing.

Finally let Freightliner F with it, we'll there are 3, yes 3 sensors associated with the HVAC and the fan clutch. I changed the wrong one.
