Have you ever talked to anybody thats been through one of those schools. I know one guy tht said their where 3 students that would all ride and take turns driving. He didnt know anything and he was very straight forward about wht they tought him wich was how to drive and not much else. They only teach bear min to get you your cdl and they get their money. I think the insurance company thing is the deal.

yes we know, no one gives a crap about 20 years ago, this is 2012, insurance companies dont care about anything but the little piece of paper that says Truck Driver Training on it....

You sure do know allot for being in the business for just a little while, you are wrong to be honest and school is not the only way to get in a truck. I know quite a few people that will take non school drivers and the insurance does not always require someone to be all kn-owed up and a school graduate.
It is all about being in the right place at the right time, not about being a shake-n-bake. If you do not think what matters 20 years ago perhaps working a forklift in a cold house would be more to your liking, what happened 20 years ago are the people that made your job possible today. -
I taught my brother to drive, got his class A at 18. Drives for the same company I do. Never stepped foot in a school, neither did I..
doored88 Thanks this. -
Its sad to say but with his know it all additude is why this industry is the way it is. There is nomore brotherhood like there used to be. He isnt worth the words.
