    Good luck finding a new job while having mental health issues. Tech employees losing jobs by the 10's of thousands have no idea what the real world is like.

    Some of that story is basic stuff being sensationalized. Immediately shut off her access? Ummmm yeah most companies do that, especially tech companies. Return equipment to guard or mail it? They don't want a laid off employee, out on mental health leave back in the building? Paint me shocked. Besides, that is pretty standard stuff too. I think what Google did was garbage. I am all for workers, but I'm not sure why she was blind sided. Been there just short of 2.5 years. Three months of that on medical leave.
