We have discussed similar issues on other threads. All I can say is if you limit yourself to a running area and dont want to run the U.S. Fleet then your miles will be limited. Dont know what kind of miles and income you expect to make running a regional fleet. I have been with Gordon over 4 years on the US Fleet and average over 3000 miles a week. Dont expect that on regional though. I also stay out at least 4 weeks at a time.

    The Challenger Thanks this.

Don't think so but probably won't get a new truck either. All of our equipment is well maintained. All cascadias have APUs and inverters. Only a couple of the old columbias left and they are on their way out.

Paid weekly, first pay check on your ComCard, Friday following week of Orientation. Direct-deposit from then on or however you set it up. You can split, direct-deposit and ComCard. Not sure about paper check via snail-mail.

The one issue on trucks is smoking. Gordon's a smoker's paradise IMO. If you get a stinky truck, don't be afraid to ask your DM/Fleet Manager to send it out to have the inside detailed. You won't get paid for your time but they'll probably have you take your truck over to a detail shop nearby.

Find out when your truck's next PM is due, will tell you how long it's been since it's had service. Make sure you're comfortable with APU operation, QualComm. The shop will generally not give you much info about the truck's repair history but you can ask, any tire, brake, air leak, engine cooler issues, last time in shop, any OTR repair. Whether has been over to Cummins for service.
