Got 100k tons/month contract - looking for subs

Louisiana is 88,000 non-interstate with 6 axles.

 

That’s $6 a ton minimum

1.5 hours a turn if your lucky .,and I’ll guess 26tons net on a 6 axle . We haul 105,000 lbs so lm guessing at the net.

26x $6 =$156 a turn for 1.5 hours

I don’t see any hope of doing it for $4.40 a ton.....

That's only $104.00 per hour...not a pathway to making money.

 

$100 per hour is a one man operation with single truck not someone looking to run a fleet. Not to mention the start up costs of maintenance, breakdown and fuel just to run until the revenue stream starts coming in.
