Does the O/O require experince to run for him? I just didn't know if there's a policy that fed ex requires from there O/O and if you dont need any experience is he or anyone he knows looking to hire someone out of lexington ky with no experience

Congratulations!!! That is great news. I'm hoping to get on with a fleet owner in a cargo van within the next month or so. He has vans for both FXCC and Panther. I'm looking to get some experience under my belt, then hopefully move up to a straight truck. Keep us updated on how it is going for you.

I don't know about FEDEX CC specifically, but generally the expediters would prefer 6 months experience for straight trucks, 1 year for T/T's. Don't know about the vans - sorry.
Your pay is determined between you and the fleet owner pretty much for all the expediter carriers. The most common ones are 60-40 and 40-60. You pay the tolls in either case. The first one you pay for fuel but get the FSC, the second one the owner pays for the fuel and they get the FSC.
The way it worked for us was that we got approved by the carrier and then they helped us find a fleet owner.
