The truck will make a little more , you will make a lot less . An expedite truck will not support drivers from 2 different households . Ask any experienced expediter .

Guess that depends on what your household needs.

I'm going to be going out for a small fleet owner, running team. Owner gave me monthly gross to the truck from mid Sept '09 (when truck 1st went into service) till end of Jan. '10 (total of 19 weeks). For that period, pay to each driver was $685. wk gross. That works for me.

I will agree, though, it might not work if that income were the household's primary one.

Well im not going to drive for this O/O after all,the the other driver didn't want to drive with a code driver.Any way its the best thing, this O/O was hard to get in touch with most of the time and didn't have the right info about fedex cc.Good news is I found a another O/O base out out of S.C.We been talking over the phone and I think he's going work out better for me.He seems very nice and professional,I did told him that I been off the truck awhile,so he said he will be more than happy to teach me the ropes agian.Ill keep everyone posted.

Congrats Bigarmin! I talked to a recruiter and since I have no experience she said I needed to drive with a teammate but I would have to provide that other person since they don't have anyone "available". Seems odd to me but oh well..

Beware the O/O out of SC if they are white glove. Since I can't post names because of the rules, just be careful. Don't do any lease purchase with them and trust me, you'll hear bad stuff from a lot of people about them two, and everything is true, unfortunately I found out the hard way. Ask your recruiter how many teams they lost 2008-2009 (all but one I believe). Good luck!

Well, you do have quite a bit of sitting time, but when you do start running good, they work the s### out of you! And if you want to keep running, talk to the owner about FDCC's approved broker list. If you really want to make $1 or less per mile.
