hey guys. Sorry for being quiet for a while. I been busy since the end of January driving for JCT and let me tell you all one thing. JCT is the best company I have driven for so far. They have their little nit picky problems but with the money I'm making here, those problems aren't problems at all. The lowest I have made in a week is roughly 600 after expenses. The Kenworth T680 im driving for them is a great truck. Yeah, she has her moments like I do but between this one, the Internationals and Freightliners I have driven for other companies, this truck beats em all. I can average a steady 8 mpg on most loads i get. She has disc brakes all the way around. She has an air ride steer axle. And she has a really nice sleeper. And she takes off like a shot cat sometimes. My DM is fantastic and night and weekend Dispatch are great for the most part. I think I have finally found the company to settle with for at least a few years if not permanently. And I don't have to brow beat them over my home time either. So, thats why I have been quiet for a while.

Yes, I am leasing.
You are correct.
It is quite often that I get about a 800 to 1000 a week after expenses. As a matter of fact, I get right around 850 a week 85% of the time. The last two weeks were kinda low but that is due to me taking a week of hometime. And whats more, my DM is actually helping me become a better driver by getting me in touch with a mentor as well as offering advice and recommendations on what would or could be better ways of doing things. And 90% of the time, she is right. The other 10% that she ain't right is usually because I am curmudgeonly kinda of person that has kind of weird ways of looking at and doing things. And to be honest, I already knew that leasing with Western Express back in November of last year won't gonna work anyways. I just used it as a test bed to see if leasing a truck would work out for me and not me work out for leasing a truck. For the most part, I knew I could do well at leasing a truck. I just had to find the right company and as my Aunt Katie has always said, Good things always comes to those who wait patiently. Well, I waited and got on with JCT and I am loving it.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
I had already found that out with Western Express although I was prepared for it. Hehe. I was just using them as a test bed to figure out how leasing would work out for me. And here is another thing too. I have a friend back home who is considering going out on the road for at least a while to help get his head back above water. When I was back home the first part of April, me and him talked about it and who I drive for and I told him that if he ever decides to actually do it to just let me know and I will see what I can get worked up for him. If it works out well for the both of us, we could team up together and get this truck paid off faster plus I could keep saving money to get my own truck spec'ed out like I want and with how this Kenworth does, I am considering another T680 but with a 605 hp Cummins. However, I am also looking at the new 18 speed Eaton Endurant automated transmission to go along with it. Just some thoughts for the future.G13Tomcat Thanks this.
