I received a letter from service transport today saying Our personnel staff has reviewed your application and recognize your accomplishments however we have chosen an applicant who we feel is better qualified for the position. I am guessing it is because I am still in driving school but I'm not really sure if it was something else like a reference or background check would they tell me that was the reason ?
Got a letter today being denied a driving job for a better qualified applicant

If you are still a student in driving school with no experience you are at the bottom of everyones list. Just stating the facts. The first year is tuff and only a few companies that are known for training will take you. Werner, Swift, CRE, Schneider, Stevens etc
-
Doubt it has anything to do with you in school. Many companies prehire students and wait till they graduate. If you had a bad exp with an employer then that could be the reason.Never heard of this company, are they a starter company?
-
I don't know if there a starter company or not

Which Service Transport ?

Not one state in the country has a law that forces a potential employer or their agent to give a reason why some one wasn't hired.
At least the OP got a letter and with the thousands of companies in the country, just keep applying. -
If they're not then that's why no hire because they don't train.Ill look and see.
