Got a packing list from my trainer: Why a crowbar?

    stay away from covenant and prime . i started with covenant just cause my mother had been with them for 15 years so i trained with her , i got lucky on that part . she even got tired of their crap and quit . i wouldnt go with shaffer or crete either , i dont know personally what their training is like , but i ran for both and i was lucky if i got 1500 miles a week . shaffers truck broke down on me in chicago on my 1st run with then and they left me there , 1000 miles away from home . stay away from werner they falsified paperwork on me and ive seen firsthand how their training goes . every one i have talked to has said u.s. xpress out of chattanooga is one of the best . good luck

    crowbar=persuader. You could definately pursuade someone to leave you alone quickly.

    For a new driver looking to enter the industry I would highly suggest Schneider. That is where I started 17 years ago and I'm glad. The training hasn't changed much since then. Get 2 years in with them and then a lot of other doors will open.

    I would no more drive for Covenant than I would sprout wings out my ### and fly to Timbuktu! Wait...I do "drive" for Covenant. Well, if you like driving team with 3500 to 4000 miles per week, and maybe paid once a month for a week's worth of labor, then Covenant is the company for you!

    And let's not forget the search for a teammate who will HOPEFULLY not be a homocidal ax-murderer, and MAY have a clue how to drive without parking the truck up a tree or something.

    It's kinda like a fire extinguisher. I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

    I can think of 3 potentially bad situations that were averted by me possessing a crowbar.
