    It's all about communication EARLY.

"I will be empty at XXXX, if I don't have a new load assigned by then, then I will have to bounce to Wayfarway or risk parking ticket/pissing off the customer.

I've done that plenty of times over the years, only once did it become "a thing".

I’m back on 95 again, but further south in New Jersey. They are telling me there shouldn’t be an issue with me being here for about 24 hours.

I’m trying to figure out how did the trooper know I was there for over 10 hours, when there was a guy right next to me with chick-Fil-a in his window and didn’t have a ticket, they are not open on on Sunday which was a dead give away of the guy being there more than 10 hours.

Does anyone know, because I didn’t see any cameras or any type of plate reader. Now I’m thinking about pleading not guilty.

They put a chalk mark on your tire, then come back 10 hours later.

You don't have to agree with the parking ticket to be punished by it. You don' have to have a PhD level understanding of the How or Why or When of the ticket to be punished by it. While a parking ticket is not a moving violation ticket and will not likely ever put anything on your MVR, it can have credit score consequences that cost you much much more than the amount of the fine. I work with people who seem to have one comment about EVERY rule, "I don't agree with it." To them I reply nobody cares if you agree or not. The consequences are not withheld from you simply by not agreeing with the policy being enforced. Try telling a cop you disagree with the speed limit. It makes no difference one way or another. You might as well just replied with the price of strawberries are too high. My advice is to pay the ticket and keep proof forever you paid that ticket. It will be over and done with and have no further consequence. Or you can fight it, spend more time, and probably still owe the fine.

This is one reason I NEVER park on streets. I never got a parking ticket in a big truck. If the customer or the area doesn't have truck parking, NOT JUST OTHER TRUCKS PARKED ALONG THE CURB, I go to a truck stop, even if it is 75 miles away. I'm not volunteering for trouble because shippers/reeivers/dispatchers think semi-trucks evaporate when they go home in the afternoon. Trucks are physical objects and they exist and need a place to park. Someone's street or property doesn't become a truck stop just because I need a place to park or they have an empty area just big enough for my truck or there is a truck parked there already.
