I interviewed for the drivers apprentice position with FedEx Freight and was told by the manager today that I will be asked for the release for background check and then will have a job offer. He said welcome so I presume I got the position. I am dying to get the email to see the next steps and of course its slow coming.
I am ecstatic ; As soon as I interviewed I wanted the position.
Any opinions, advice or just anything?

    austinmike Thanks this.

    A position? HA.

You keep it by not hitting anything or wrecking the customers shipping boxes every day.

Now that I got the teasing out of the way, you need to breathe and pace yourself. You could be there 40 years from now.

That makes 2 of us, Buddy! I’d suggest forming a support group but there’s already one out there. It’s called Happy Hour.

We don't intend to be 90+ My bones are already there. And still in the mid 50's roughly.

We are losing a couple relatives that are around 90 for a variety of very good medical reasons related to aging. So it seems each day is a last chance to possibly have a set and talk over things not yet covered. And one trucker is looking at hospice after 20+ years in trucking after the docs maxed out everything cancer related.
