Yeah, we're all self-righteous A-Holes. Says the guy who parked in front of a NO PARKING sign, and is pissed that he got a ticket...
It’s kind of a valid point. 10 miles east there’s over 200 spots in sulfur springs. Just east of the rest area there’s two huge, paved parking areas. Further east is a scale with parking, that’s where we do load checks with oversize loads. We used to use the rest area, then people started parking on the curved ramps, we can’t get by at 16’ wide and 100’ long.
I didn't even know where Cumby, TX was, but given the nature of the topic I assumed it had to be somewhere near or around Dallas. That whole I-35 and I-30 corridor between San Antonio and Little Rock I can live without.
Or, the drivers that park behind the rows so that when you roll in in the morning, you have to blindside back into a spot.
With the Roadster T/S opening at I-30 Exit 97 13 miles west of Cumby, the parking situation should have improved. ONE9 Dealer in Greenville, TX | 3004 I-30 (pilotflyingj.com)
Sounds like the state is failing us (again) by not providing enough parking. Holy ####, they rape us in taxes and we can't even get enough parking spaces.
i run Texas all the time and never have a problum finding legal parking. Maybe you should trip plan better
Half a mile away there’s two large truck parking areas. But keep telling yourself there’s not enough parking. There might not be enough parking when or where you want it, but that’s a trip planning issue most of the time.
