Did you not get the memo?
They are on a mission to give tickets for the no truck lane
Also
Go get yourself a binder or folder
Put all your truck papers in that book
I have mine in a hard cover binder
First page is an index where each form is
All I do is hand that to the scale guy and he can easily flip through it and see what he wants
I’m pretty sure it’s not a cops job to wait while a driver digs through his truck looking for the infoLast edited: Mar 6, 2021

I dont have a index, but mine is the same. Think its actually got me out of trouble. I have had one Dot, and one state patrol say they liked it.Ten Bears19, Midwest Trucker, SoulScream84 and 1 other person Thank this. -
So everyone was speeding the same as you, but you were in the hammer lane, presumably to pass other people....
slow.rider, Canadianhauler21, nredfor88 and 5 others Thank this. -
Yeah I screwed up in Indy and got complacent. I foolishly figured they don’t enforce the hammer lane law in Indy (like they don’t in Chicago from I’ve seen).

I think Florida is also cracking down
Lighted billboard signs had fines of $xx if truck in wrong lane posted last week on themSoulScream84 Thanks this. -
Cattleman84, sevenmph, Dennixx and 6 others Thank this.

You need to get into the habit of being organized, you can’t find the registration and insurance really is a problem.

If all your friends Jumped off the bridge would you?
As my dad used to say.
I watch any 55 zone because most people don't adhere to it but your in a truck, the rules apply to you.
You gotta watch those couple of miles of 55 mph zones in the middle of nowhere on 65 in northern Tennessee also .slow.rider, Wasted Thyme, Midwest Trucker and 2 others Thank this. -
I drive 465 around indy every night..
I set my cruise at 55 and ride the right lane... guess what... I've never been stopped.....Western flyer, xsetra, GYPSY65 and 3 others Thank this.
