Know when you can roll and know when to back out of it. The number 1 rule for speeding

NOBODY DRIVES the speed limit on 465??? I run 465 frequently and never exceed 55 mph. Yes, I do it in the middle lane.

I have always watched my speed even in my personal car for the last 30'years after almost losing my liscence all in one year back in the day before I had a cdl.

I used to bomb between Michigan and Florida on a regular basis with a Escort radar detector every other month in my personal vehicle back than.

Than they developed laser radar . Caught a couple big tickets before a State boy clued me in.

    That slowed me down.

Couple years ago Me and 2 other milk haulers from 2 other separate companies were bombing up 31 doing 68 in a 65.

Got right down to the end where it ends and we all got lit up by 3 State boys waiting for us.

None of us noticed that they had just installed 55 mph construction zone signs being it was 11 at night and not a soul was around other than us.

Wrote me up for 60 in a 55 but in comments said I was doing 68 in a 55.

My first ticket in 30 years.

My work went ballistic on me and the big chief dragged me into the office and chewed my azzz..

It wasn't about getting stung by the 55 construction zone it was doing 68 in a 65. Zero tolerance which I was not informed of.

Their trucks their rules. Not a problem. Abide by them and a Happy Boss makes a happy employee.

I drive around 465 a lot and it is true, people always passing me like I am standing still even when I am doing 59 myself.

It is also true that Indiana is getting crazy with speed traps. Just last night around Peoria I see this car pass me probably doing 15 over and out of the shadows I see police car pull out and get right behind him. He tailed his bumper for a couple minutes then lit up his lights. I was already in the left hand lane. by that time to get around them.

Then not even ten miles down the road I see another pulled over.

    Wait.... What?
Did I miss something because I thought I read you got hit with 4 separate violations

Pretty sure you have been more than complacent for a long time

10 mph for 30 minutes = 5 minutes. Sounds like a pretty expensive 5 minutes.

I got told to pull a non KLLM trailer with a new truck instead of my current one. I spent almost an hour crawling around trk and trl and checking to make sure permits and plates were right. I noted 4 things on the trailer that could be construed as damage just to be safe before I left the yard. Always CYA

You've been crucified enough. I'm not going to get in on the bagging of you. It's going to be an expensive lesson. Pay the fines, don't screw up anymore, do better and over time, the points will fall off your license. Again, do better!

If everyone did that none of us would get anywhere. Thanks for staying out of the way
