Unfortunately I can't afford to wait 5 months. And if i did wait I would have to take a refresher course and I definitely can't afford that either. I'm not saying I wanted to drive for Werner, I tried because they have a terminal really close to my home but seeing I only live an hour from Los Angeles I gotta be able to find someone that has their own insurance. I'm persistent and I don't give up easily if I really want something.
Got denied by Werner for driving record.....

US Express, Werner, Covenant and so on will be tougher on their hiring requirements compared to the mid-range, self-insured companies. A OTR job is out there, you just have to find it. Good luck.
When looking for a company to hire me, I made it clear that the only thing I was worried about getting during my first year was experience. I'll be worried about home time, and pay once I've been in the business for a year. Due to bad decisions in my early 20's, I can't afford to be as picky about who/where I go to work driving OTR. -
Do you have any suggestions about any companies like you are talking about. I too am only worried about getting experience behind the wheel. My lead foot and speeding days are almost 3 years behind me now and Im done with being stupid behind the wheel. I just wanna prove myself now!

I'am from europe.were in Europe not have this stupids rules about trucking(speeding)This is only for the insurance companies about the money, when you look here what the peoples talk, you think everboby drive correct.Only outside in the street everybody is speeding not to much drivers drive the legal speed everybody drive faster.Only the game is to not receive a speeding ticket. That's the true, were all make mistakes. And everybody needs a 2 change, only this is mi opinion.

Glad to hear it. (Sounds like some nice light work.)
Brutal Rattler Thanks this. -
Good for you. Now one bit of advice. With your driving record being what it is, hold onto this job with all your strength, at least until your tickets fall off. Good luck.Brutal Rattler Thanks this.
