I will tell from my own experience, it might help someone
I bought a trailer while ago, all tires worn out irregular wear, took it to 2 shops, all they done and recommended was tire replacement and 2 alignments,
and of course wear happened again.
got tired of all the time - money wasted and invested in some verrrrry inexpensive tools and done it myself.
When tire problems occur on trailer all this will have to be done at the same time and will last a long way.
replaced 4 bushing sets, 4 shocks ,4 air bags, 8 tires, tighten the bearings to the exact specs, alignment, 8 tires new, inspect brakes and drums
NEVER EVER a recap as it will cost you 4 times more then a new tire.
The cost: just a few things here.
trailer bushings $400 ( 4 pc)
bushing tool rental $100 a day took 1 day to replace
8 new Chinese steer tire ($ 250 a piece) (no more low tread)
All new, just guess - Will run as a champ! for years
Got DOT inspected twice in one day. Have some concerns.
