That dummy box was labeled for a different hospital, all the correct labels, they just say the loader’s, put it on the wrong truck. I have seen this almost daily. There’s a big skid, one carton misplaced . We just bring it back. Sometimes it’s just a box of IV bags or whatever. We just bring it back and tell them.
Got hit with a FMCSA random drug test but facility is closed!!

Company has a monitoring system tracking they know where you’re at you’re halfway back there they say get off at the next exit stop at the clinic for drug test. I’ve been tested three times in one month when I first started they tell you to do it otherwise you don’t work there

Well, I finally got tested late today!!
Two days ago the owner revised the Epassport test facility to another place after myself and the other guy (whose final work day was today) continued to call the initial place and get no credible updates after the pipe burst.
So I go to this other testing place and find a “not open due to illness” sign on the door! I nearly flipped out! Called this place all that day and the next day to no avail.
Called this morning and they said they were open.
Both of us got tested. I didn’t have a load today so just went home and other dude came with his packed gear as he was literally leaving town going home since today was his last day.
Been going through this thread and would like to thank everyone for any/every bit of insight and advice given!! You guys rock!!MACK E-6 and North Pole Nightmare Thank this. -
Word of advice. It’s much better to go straight to the source. Avoid all the different interpretations for any of a number of reason. The cheat sheet you’re looking at may be out of date. The person who published the information may have gotten it wrong etc….
Remember every single regulation regarding the trucking industry is available in black and white from a US Government website. These sites are updated as the regulations are changed and new ones are added.
Quit relying on others for easily obtainable critical information. Because the excuse that so and so said such and such won’t cut it in this situation.
Here’s a bone to get started. Not going to do the work when everyone should learn how to find information this critical for themselves.

The regulation in this particular link specifies exactly how long someone has to take a test once ordered.
One will also see references to other regulations where further reading may be required.
The only exception is the split berth rule. That’s brain salad soup. I don’t think the person who wrote that regulation could accurately calculate HOS more than 3 of 5 times based on the wording.TheIncredibleBulk Thanks this. -
Read the regulations and CYA

Depending on the company. The boss usually isn't the one that notifies.
